We’ve kept in touch with Peter since his compelling presentation on Bureau County resident Nellie Becker and her family. Mrs. Becker was on the Titanic with her three children and they all survived one of the world’s greatest maritime disasters. Mrs. Becker and her husband lived in Princeton and are also buried in Oakland Cemetery.

Mr. Cook returns with yet another Bureau County connection to the Titanic! He will be our featured speaker at the Bureau County Historical Society and History Center Annual Meeting.
